Ipsos conducted a survey for Nestle in Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, from June-September 2025, amongst adults aged 16-75 who chose to participate in the research

56% of morning coffee occasions across the four MENA markets included in the survey are driven by Pleasure*, signaling an opportunity for hotels to elevate the morning coffee occasion beyond functionality and create more enjoyable guest moments.

*Pleasure is one of Nestlé's four proprietary Demand Segments (Pleasure, Stimulation, Health, and Refreshment). Demand Segments are derived from a combination of consumption occasion characteristics, including underlying consumer Need States (19 need states in total), time of day, consumption context (alone or with others), and location (at home or out of home)
